LGBTQ+ Pride Month is celebrated each year in June to honor the 1969 Stonewall riots in New York. The purpose of this commemorative month is to recognize the impact that lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer individuals have had on history locally, nationally, and globally.

We are proud to offer these diverse reading and viewing recommendations in celebration of LGBTQ+ Pride Month. All materials are available as e-books or online resources through the NEIU Libraries.
