This last school year was hard on everyone, and definitely looked different than any other year we’ve had at Northeastern. Learning and teaching during a pandemic is not easy, but the NEIU Libraries want to celebrate some positive things, so we took a look at some of the ways we’ve been able to continue to help students and faculty, both from working at home and in the library this year. This is not representative of everything we’ve done the last two semesters, but just some things that are easy to quantify and highlight our research and instruction services, and well as our resources and library use.

We also managed to successfully complete an entire library system migration remotely that had been in the works for several years, and we were one of the first university libraries to reopen in the state of Illinois, providing interlibrary loan materials for contactless pick-up for the NEIU community, as well as other university students and faculty in the Chicagoland area. Remember, the NEIU Libraries are always here for you!
