As you grab a coffee from the Library's Cafe Descartes, check out a book, or head to an instruction session on the 3rd floor, you likely notice the Library's gallery space located on the first floor by the elevators. The Library works with the Art Department and other campus departments throughout the school year to provide space to showcase NEIU student and faculty work. We're thrilled to have our first art exhibition of the year on display in the space!

Not All Rainbows and Butterflies features pieces from four NEIU artists - two alumni and two current students - working in a variety of media. Per the artists' statement, the exhibition "showcases each artist's vulnerabilities in identifying as a woman." The exhibition will be on view during the Library's open hours through Sunday, September 22. Congratulations to the artists on their work!
