As the Fall 2020 semester wraps up, here are the details on library services for the rest of the semester, as well as when services will resume in 2021. Good luck on finals, and have a happy and healthy winter break!
Click & Sit Service
The Ronald Williams Library will continue to offer quiet study space for the duration of the fall semester through finals week. The study space hours are 10am - 4pm Monday through Friday.
The last day study space will be available in the Library is Friday, December 11, after which the Library will be closed for the duration of the Winter Break period. Study space hours will resume for the Spring 2021 semester beginning on Monday, January 11.
Study space continues to be available via reservation only. Students can select a time(s) to book study space online.
Grab & Go Service
The last day for Grab & Go service this semester, where physical materials may be picked up from the library entrance between 10am and 4pm, is Friday, December 18. The last day for Grab & Go service at the CCICS Library location is Thursday, December 10.
Grab & Go will resume at both the Ronald Williams and CCICS Libraries on Monday, January 4. Click & Sit will resume at the Ronald Williams Library on Monday, January 11.
Items may be returned to the library drop box located outside the Ronald Williams Library at any time.

The entire I-Share library system, including NEIU Libraries, will not be able to make borrowing requests during the holiday break. Patrons will be able to make requests again for the spring semester starting on January 3.
Although you can’t make a request during this time, you can search for materials. We recommend that you save any items to “Your Favorites” in the catalog so that you can easily find and request them after the break. Below are step-by-step instructions:
Using “My Favorites” to save or pin items from the catalog for later reference

Once you've pinned an item, you'll notice the
icon in the upper right-hand corner of the screen briefly turns red.
To access and manage your "favorite" items, click the pin icon in the upper right-hand corner of the screen. Here, you can add or remove items at your leisure, sort them into groups by adding your own customized labels, or easily locate them to request through I-Share on or after January 3.
