Yes! However, many resources are licensed for NEIU users only, so you'll first need to login using your NEIU NetID and Password when accessing them off-campus. The NEIU Libraries online resources are available 24 hours a day.
While researching, you may find materials you need that we don't own. Interlibrary loan is a free service the library offers to get you those materials. If we don't own it, we'll get it for you.
There are two ways of getting something we don't own through interlibrary loan.
For either option, first search the library catalog. If we don't own something you need, login with your NEIU NetID and password to see your interlibrary loan options. Articles typically take 1-3 days to arrive, and books can take anywhere from 2-3 days (for I-Share) or 5 days to several weeks (for WorldShare) depending on the book's location. They are mailed to our Library.
If you start your search at the NEIU Libraries homepage, the links you follow will identify you as an NEIU user. This will help simplify linking to our resources.
Once you do a search in an article database, use links like these to get the full text of the article:

They will link you to the NEIU Libraries catalog and let you know if we have a subscription to the article, making it available immediately via a link.
If the full text of an article is not available online, you will be directed to request a copy of the article through WorldShare interlibrary loan.
