The University Archives collection preserves the history of NEIU. Materials include minutes of University meetings, policies and reports, the Internal Budget, NEIU's student newspaper, and yearbooks from 1964 to 1982.

Illinois Regional Archives Depository (IRAD)
IRAD is a repository of primary source documents on the Chicago municipal government and genealogical information for Cook County.

Located on the first floor of the Ronald Williams Library, the Library Tech Desk provides technical support and training in support of class projects, research, and University initiatives. In addition, the Library Tech Desk maintains the Research and Publishing Lab, located on the first floor of the Ronald Williams Library.

Located on the first floor of the Ronald Williams Library, the Research and Publishing Lab (R&PL) is designated for the research and publishing needs of Northeastern students, faculty, staff, and alumni.

The studios are designed to record and edit audio and visual materials. The rooms are great for projects like webinars or creating learning modules with a voiceover; they are not equipped to record musical performances.
