Streaming Video Collections

The library offers access to three streaming video collections from Alexander Street Press. If you're working off-campus, you'll need your NEIU NetID and password to access these resources.

Comprehensive video collection to support the study of classical music, providing streaming access to more than 400 hours of video including performances of all forms of music, masterclasses and interviews with master teachers from around the world, and documentaries profiling classical artists and their work.

The definitive streaming video collection for the study of 20th Century concert dance, featuring the most influential performers and companies together with dozens of documentaries, interviews, and dance instruction videos. Comprised of 500 hours of high-caliber content covering ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, experimental, and improvisation.

DVD Collection

The library has a large DVD collection. It contains not only feature films (e.g., The Criterion Collection), but also many operas and master classes. Music CDs will also be found in this area located on the third floor of the library. Use the catalog to search for specific titles or come browse the collections.
