Library Catalog Filter is the best ways to limit your results to books In our collection. Under "Resource Type," select "Books," and click the "Apply" button to apply the filter and only view books in your results list.

The Advanced Search can hone in on exactly the types of books you are looking for.
You can specify things like language, author name, or year of publication.
Use the Advanced Search if your book has a common title.
On the catalog record, you can click on subject headings to open a new search for items within that subject.
Saving the website address in your browser may not work if you're trying to get back to an item later. If you'd like to save the link to get to a particular item on the NEIU Libraries website at a later date, be sure to use the "Page Link" tool under the "Save for Later" section of the item's record. In addition to peer-reviewed articles, academic journals also regularly publish book reviews. You can find reviews written about a specific book by following the instructions below:
Begin at the NEIU Libraries homepage, and enter the book's exact title in quotation marks in the search box. Click on the magnifying glass, or press ENTER to run your search.
Check the boxes next to: Availability > Available online, and Resource Type > Reviews. Click the "Apply Filters" button your filtered results will appear.
Click on a review you'd like to read. A new menu will appear, and you will find direct links to view the article from here. Choose, and click on, one of the links under the "View Online" section of the page to go to the review page. You may need to log in with your NEIU Username and Password (same as NEIUport) to access and read the review.
